7 Civilians, including 3 Children, died in the attack

"The armed wing of Hamas, the Ezzedine Al-Qassam Brigades, has said it will end its 16-month ceasefire following an Israeli artillery attack on a beach in Gaza.

Seven Palestinian civilians, including three children, were killed when artillery shells were fired from Israeli naval ships towards the Sudania area of the narrow coastal territory.

At least 35 others were wounded in the attack."

From RTE News Ireland

This is EXACTLY what I've been talking about when it comes to this cycle of violence. Seven civilians are killed, and Israel is blaming Hamas for violence. Do they not see that it's a neverending cycle of revenge? When will people decide that human life is worth more than this?

It appears that no artillary shells were fired from a naval ship in the incident. Also, it appears this could have been a Palestinian 'accident" (The term used when moronic palestinian terrorists accidentally kill themselves and others)

It is not when people will decide, it is when will the Palestinians decide that human life is worth something.

Out of curiousity, it appears from where? I'm still looking at news sources from around the globe and none of them have any stories relating to it appearing that a Palestinian would have been sitting at a beach making bombs and had one go off...
Instead of looking strictly at Ha'arretz, try looking at some other World News Sources

Just a suggestion.

Ibrahamav,

Is this what you were referring to:

"An internal military probe into the deaths of eight civilians on a Gaza beach has found no evidence the tragedy was caused by Israeli shell fire without ruling out the possibility."

"an internal inquiry by the military, while not completely ruling out that possibility, will say that the deaths were likely to have been caused by a mine placed at the beach by supporters of the ruling Islamist Hamas movement"

To be honest, it is logical to conclude that, with the bad press received after this incident, the IDF would want to distance itself from any involvement. It is important to note, however, that even in their denials they still "cannot rule out the possibility." That sounds far from convincing to me.
